R.U.S.E. Beta

I am certain everyone has noticed the R.U.S.E. Beta at the bottom of their games list. And I am rather curious if the beta is worthwhile for downloading and playing for the rest of the open beta time. Has anyone here tried it? If so, how was it, and what features did you enjoy? What features did you dislike?

Hmm I only looked at the screenshot...I usually can tell right away if the game is interesting or not. By the looks of it...its more like battle planning and less action. Didn't bother installing it.

penguin has a video of it on youtube. looks interesting if you like RTS. i might try it.... but i'm kinda low on hard drive space.

I didn't really bother. I watched some clips about it. It is like Bouncer said. More planning than fighting.

I have the hard drive space, seeming since I have 3 hard drives. And I used to be heavily into RTS. But only good at defensive playing style. As soon as I started building an army was when I died. I will look at the Youtube video, and see if it looks good enough to chance if it would work on my horrible computer. I saw the specs requirement, it says '2.8' processor minimum. I only have a 2.1 that won't overclock. And I will post about my annoying graphics card eventually in the tech section.

At six minutes, you can skip there if you want. The attacking is what I would call 'epic win.' (Edit: Like most others would probably say too XP)

Well, I watched the video you did and yes, the fighting was very epic, but it took a while to get there.

its down and i am pissed of, but i had a good run, wished i was here to recommend it but i wasn't,

some basic stats,

USSR: Holy S*** i can soot across the map with artillery??? good for artillery rush

France: TANKS with Anti air wtf!!! good for tanks

England: I have no clue i hate them(i'm partly, more like 1/70, brittish oddly)

USA: n00b much?? Allaround/ n00b class

Germany: Usa but better everything, especially planes, JETS FTW

Italy: Stupid plane i' gunna knock you out... good for anti air and decent planes
